EVENTS

We strive to have wonderful events that allow you to celebrate your love of animals while helping homeless pets in our community to find the loving homes they need. All proceeds from these events go directly toward caring for the thousands of animals that enter our shelter each year.

We hope to see you out & about at the shelter events soon!

CCSPCA Dog Wash Services:

  • Wash & Dry $10

  • Nail Clipping $10

  • Brushing $3

OR get the whole Beauty Package $20  (Includes all 3 services)

Does Fido offend with his aroma when he gets too close to you? Does Buddy smell like the dog that he is? Does Princess disagree with the fact that dogs need pedicures? If you recognize your canine companion in any of the situations above you are not alone!  Perhaps it's because you have an energetic pup who won't stand still while you try to bathe him, or you have a fear of clipping his nails too short because you aren't used to doing it. Heck - sometimes it's nice to just have someone else do this not too pleasant job!  Our knowledgeable volunteers will pamper your pup while you can stand back and relax (or laugh if you want). No appointment is necessary, simply bring your dog during a date and time listed.
We have the brushes that will help remove that winter coat that your canine friend is shedding now that it's warmer and less insulation is needed. Next your pup visits the pedicure specialist where those sharp nails are cut to perfection - this allows your pet to walk better and they'll make less noise while walking on hard surfaces in your home. Once the pedicure is complete your pet is whisked away to the bathing area. Here he or she will be showered, lathered up with wonderful flea & tick shampoo, rinsed thoroughly, and towel dried. Upon completion of the dreaded bath your dog is rewarded with a delicious treat (re-enforcing that baths are fun). You are then free to allow your dog time to completely air dry on the grounds if you would like.
Basically, for a day of beauty for your canine companion all you need to do is show up and allow us to do all of the work - how great is that? Dogs must be leashed at all times while on shelter grounds. If your dog is challenging during a bath or pedicure please be sure to bring a muzzle with you. Dogs that bite will be excluded from services unless a muzzle is provided. If you have a dog that is not fond of other animals we suggest you arrive first thing in the morning or toward the end of service hours to limit the exposure he or she will have to tolerate. Please be sure to have all collars or harnesses correctly fitted to prevent your animal from escaping should he or she become frightened.

This year, you will have 2 options for taking your photos home in a digital format.

  1. For only $2.00, photos will be available on disk, allowing you to use any local photo center to produce holiday cards from the photos, or share them via the internet. All photos taken will be on the CD!
  2. For a one time fee of $15, have your photos loaded onto the new "SPCA Photo Passport" USB flash drive. Tree of Hope Lighting @ South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter
Dec 1 @ 4:30 pm
Tree of Hope Lighting @ South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter | Vineland | New Jersey | United States

Our holiday tree of hope will be illuminated with lights dedicated in honor or in memory of loved ones & pets. There is a short ceremony with a slideshow of photos submitted by those sponsoring a light if they wish. Light refreshments are available before & after the ceremony. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as the festivities are held outside unless it is raining.

The SJRAS Tree of Hope remains light until the first of the year, reminding passers by that with the help of everyone in our community we CAN make a difference, one animal at a time.
