My fellow animals of the world,

I stand before you today as a proud candidate for the Pet of the Year contest. My name is Shirley Temple, and I am a turtle with a story that will inspire you all.

I was found eating food out of a dumpster, far away from any natural sources of water. I was weak, scared, and alone. But then, a kind human found me and took me in. They gave me a warm home, plenty of food and water, and most importantly, love.

Since then, I have flourished. I am a strong and resilient turtle who loves to explore the world around me. I know that my story is not unique - there are countless animals out there who are in need of help and love. And that is why I have made a vow to make a positive impact on the world.

I believe that no animal should ever go hungry. That is why I have pledged to ensure that every animal has access to their favorite treats, whether that's cake pops or worms! I want to spread joy and happiness to animals all over the world, and I know that together, we can make a difference.

As your Pet of the Year, I promise to use my platform to make the world a better place for all animals. I know that some animals might think that a turtle can't make a difference in the world. But I am here to prove them wrong. I am proof that even the smallest and seemingly insignificant animals can make a big impact. Just look at all the movies I’ve been in! I’m sure I’ve been the star of some of your favorites!!

So I ask you, my fellow animals of the world, to join me on this journey. Let us work together to create a world where no animal is ever left behind or forgotten. Let us spread love and kindness to all creatures, great and small. And most importantly, let us never forget the power of determination and willpower.

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can create a better world for all animals. And together, we can ensure that no animal ever goes hungry. Cake pops (or worms) for all!
