WILLOW

Hello Humans! My name is Willow (aka: willow pups, puppers, mumz, willow dog- I will answer to all of them!!) and I am an American Bulldog and Hound mix. I spent a very long time in the shelter. I went to two different homes and was returned for being "nippy" but I'm not, I promise! That's just the way I like to play! One day last year I found my forever family! I love these humans! I'm a big girl with an even bigger heart! I love pets, scratches, snuggles and to give lots of kisses! (Free kisses for votes!! Double kisses if you adopt or foster one of my shelter friends!) I mostly snuggle my human dad and my human brother and sister. I LOVE to people watch out the window on my chaise during the day and nap on my big comfy couch! My human mommy and I love to play! She likes when I nip at her fingers and give her lots of kisses to show her I'm just playing! My family adopted me and gave me a VERY important job! Yes, I'm a workin' dawg just like all of you humans!! I'm a registered Emotional Support Animal for my 10 year old Autistic human brother!! ( I'm also a Pokemon as of Christmas 2022!!) Boy do I love him!!! Sometimes he gets overwhelmed and I sit with him and he hugs me nice and tight (yes- I LOVE hugs!! Contrary to the fact that humans says hugs give dogs anxiety!) and I help him calm down. Mom and Dad say he's really come a long way and that I do a really good job!! A vote for me- WILLOW!- will ensure that all of my shelter friends, no matter their species (because I'm a dog for every species!) get the love, care and attention they deserve.
I will do my very best to spread the word about rescuing a pet and the crucial need for foster parents and forever families for everyone! My goal is: empty cages and kennels in every shelter, everywhere!!
Even though my fellow contestants and I found our forever families there is still SO MUCH work to do to find homes for everyone!!
Please help me support my friends in each and every shelter but especially SJRAS which is overflowing with special animals who desperately just want to be loved!
Remember: Pets- the universes way of apologizing for your relatives!! Adopting a shelter pet does the soul good- and so does a vote for me, Willow!
