VINELAND - The Vineland Health Department will hold the following free rabies clinics:
- South Vineland EMS Station, 876 E. Sherman Ave., Jan. 12 and Feb. 16.
- Carl Arthur Center, 217 N. Third St., Feb. 2 and March 16.
Clinics are for dogs only from 9 to 11 a.m., and for cats only from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A previous vaccination slip is required to get the three-year shot.
Dogs must be on a leash, and aggressive dogs must be properly muzzled. Cats must be in a closed carrier or basket. All animals must be accompanied by an adult or capable teenager.
A rabies inoculation slip, valid through Oct. 31 of the licensing year, is required to purchase a license for cats and dogs.
