We understand that pets add to the life of their family. But we also know that caring for that pet can, at times, be draining on an already tight budget. Our goal at SJRAS is to help pet owners KEEP their pets, and keep them healthy & protected against the most common illnesses out there.

To help keep more money in your pocket & keep Fido or Fluffy well all at the same time, we offer low-cost vaccine clinics. ANYONE from ANYWHERE can come to the clinics to have their dog or cat given the basic shots to keep them safe.

Puppies can receive their first round of shots as early as 6 weeks, and normally require at least 2 additional shots to build their immunity completely. They aren’t old enough to receive rabies vaccines until they’re 4 months old, but that usually is around the time of their 3rd distemper vaccine anyway. We’ll put the recommended vaccination schedule below.

      Puppy’s Age Recommended Vaccinations
      6 — 8 weeks = Distemper, measles, parainfluenza
10 — 12 weeks = DHPP (vaccines for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza, and parvovirus)
      12 — 24 weeks = Rabies
      14 — 16 weeks = DHPP
